Our Mission
The mission of Noblesville Methodist Preschool and Parents Day Out (PDO) program is to provide a loving Christian environment where children can develop spiritually, socially, intellectually, physically, and emotionally; to help each child discover and explore God’s world and experience God’s love; and to enable a child to grow in confidence, and feel secure in relationships with other children and enjoy the love of adults other than their parents.
Our Programs
Noblesville Methodist Preschool and Parent’s Day Out (NMPPDO) is proud to announce this is our 55th year serving Noblesville and the surrounding communities. Our experienced teachers are degreed, CPR certified, and have a passion for early childhood education . Our teachers have a combined total of 100+ years of teaching at NMPPDO! This is an indication of the strength and longevity of our preschool program.
The Noblesville Methodist Preschool and Parent’s Day Out programs offer diverse, age appropriate learning experiences and activities for children from 12 months to 6 years old.
Intellectually
Children are provided with challenging opportunities to pursue their interests, seek information and expand their critical thinking skills. The classes are designed to enable individual and group problem solving activities, role playing, and exploration and discovery of real objects and inventive ideas.
Emotionally
The programs provide a secure environment where each child feels accepted, respected and nurtured through pursuits which foster well- being and a sense of self- worth.
Socially
A balance of structured curriculum coupled with free play encourages interaction with other students and the classroom teachers. The children learn respect, cooperation and compassion while acquiring communication and problem solving skills.
Our History and Vision
Preschool Past
In 1965, a group of educators founded the Methodist Nursery School. It was supported by the church congregation as well as Noblesville and the surrounding communities. The program flourished. As the school grew, it added a separate Mother’s Day Out program. The two programs merged and are now known as the Noblesville Methodist Preschool and Parent’s Day Out.
Current Preschool and PDO
The programs are constantly growing and evolving to stay current and relevant to the education of early childhood students. The preschool board and parent committees are active in assisting the teachers and conducting special activities.
